Part 1. How to set up Chromecast
Simply plug the Chromecast into your TV's HDMI port, visit here to setup in Chrome browser on your MacBook, download the Chromecast app and follow the instructions from there to install it. Please make sure your MacBook and TV is on the same WiFi network. Then install Chromecast Extension in Chrome browser.
Part 2. How to broadcast from MacBook
Drag and drop your videos to Chrome browser, then click Chromecast extension icon, your videos will be broadcasted to your TV. Certainly, online videos are also able to be broadcasted on TV. Google provides a list of these apps on its website.
Part 3. How to broadcast Chromecast unsupported videos

Steps of How-to Finalize the Conversion
Step 1. Launch this App, and drag and drop your videos to its main UI. The picture below is another way to load files.
Step 2. For H.264 MP4, please click the format bar and follow "HD Video" to select "H.264 HD Video(*.mp4)".
Step 3. At last, hit the big "Convert" button in the main UI, the app will start to convert videos to H.264 MP4. Once the conversion is overt, you are able to watch any video from MacBook on TV via Chromecast. Enjoy!
